I live and work in Philadelphia, where I am an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Pennsylvania.
In clinic, I focus on neurogastroenterology and motility disorders. Outside of clinic, I’m a writer with interests in the history, literature, and culture of medicine.
I went to college at Harvard University and to medical school at the University of Michigan. I completed my clinical training at the University of Virginia and the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
