I am an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania.
My primary clinical interest is in functional and motility disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. My secondary research interests are in the history, literature, and culture of medicine.
I went to college at Harvard University and to medical school at the University of Michigan. I completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia and my gastroenterology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
